Hooked
This was my very first project I made at General Assembly. The challenge was to build a game using JavaScript and JQuery. I created a hangman game using one word from a set of musical lyrics. I was a big fan of Never Mind the Buzzcocks at the time which inspired me to create this. I have re-built this using React and improving some of the original functionality.
UV Monitoring Dashboard
This is a recent app I built using Next.JS, React, Recharts and Vercel. My mission was to create a UV tracking app using an API which checks the UV level for the day. I used OpenUV to fetch the UV data and I used OpenWeatherMaps location functionality so we can select location by name rather than latitude and longitude. The idea was to figure out what items to sell based on UV level, it it was cold get some vitamin D tablets, if it was warm slap on some sunscreen, if it was hot get a sunbrella.
Pubbing
Currently a work in progress, this is a project I am currently working on. I created pubbing during my time at general assembly and am now updating it with modern technologies. Hopefully I will have it available here soon.
